2001 Palmares: Painted with House of Kolors, candy apple
red paint. It was applied directly over the brushed "ti"
finish with several coats of clear to give the anodized affect.
Candy red was also applied directly over the bare aluminum
stem providing close to the same affect. Candy paints are
transparent thus picking up the affect of whatever base is
used. Candy creates a stunning effect over bare "ti"
or carbon fiber, you can still see the carbon weave but it
is now tinted to any color you desire. |
